Safety and Environment Officer

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Registered Engineer is an advantage
• With at least three years working experience in leading the Occupational Safety and Health team in a manufacturing industry
• Preferably with BOSH certificate

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and conduct Safety Programs such as: Unsafe Acts / Unsafe Conditions, 5’S, Forklift Rules 7 Regulation, Emergency Response Drill, Fire Brigade team, First Aid team.
• Maintaining liaison with any Government entity to ensure company’s compliance and be abreast with the requirements of the company and government (DOLE laws & regulations)
• Assists DOLE, SMC-CTS, SAFETY and other authorized personnel to conduct safety and health inspections, accident investigations or any other related program and provides necessary documents and data as may be required.
