Safeguarding Specialist Nurse

Responsibilities

• has expert knowledge of the legislation and statutory guidance in relation to safeguarding children and adults
• has a keen interest in ensuring high standards of safeguarding practice
• will provide expert knowledge, support, and advice to staff across Birmingham Children's Hospital
• will provide safeguarding supervision to staff across Birmingham Children's Hospital

The role requires the individual to have advanced experience of safeguarding children and adults. The individual will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about safeguarding children and adults. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with other partner agencies across Birmingham, you must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills, be a caring and compassionate individual focused on working within the values held by the Trust.
