Reports To

Section Manager or any other person appointed to supervise him/her from time to time.

Primary Position Purpose

This position is responsible for handling geotechnical investigations for infrastructure projects and provide recommendations that guide the project development.

Key Responsibilities

• Geotechnical investigations including desktop studies, prefeasibility to detail design investigations and reporting.
• Collect and analyse data for project planning and design.
• Supervise geotechnical contractors on site including the appointment of contractors, managing site operations, payment certificates, quality, health and safety, performance, and project timelines.
• Supervise and manage small teams (technicians, students, draughtsmen, graduates).
• Develop increased design ability and quality.
