Seeking: Rubber Chemist - Defence Projects

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

• Develop rubber formulations, including mixing and moulding procedures and testing to confirm relevant properties, and predict the properties of finished products
• Analyse and resolve productivity and quality concerns in Mixing, Extrusion and Moulding areas
• Evaluate new customer specifications and specify suitable materials to achieve the required technical outcomes
• Specify appropriate materials and processes to enable completion of product quotations
• Evaluate materials from alternative suppliers to ascertain their quality and recommend their usage as alternatives to current suppliers
• Evaluate and assist in the resolution of quality and production concerns.
