Role Description Statement

The RTR Senior Accountant in the Center of Excellence (CoE) works in a RTR team assigned to multiple countries, supporting the Record to Report (RTR) teams for example with various ad hoc tasks, complex bookings, or the maintenance of the chart of accounts.

Key Responsibilities (High Level)

  • Establish and implement the governance required in reconciling and aligning reporting outputs with accounting balances in ERPs and Tagetik.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on findings
  • Identify, define and communicate acceptable reconciling items within reporting outputs, and identify and develop/oversee action plans to address reconciling items which hinder effective reporting
  • Support with interaction of financial booking activities and reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Sulzer regulation...
