Route Planner

As a Transport Allocator / Route Planner you will act as the primary link between our production facility, customer contact centre, and third-party delivery partners.

This position balances technical route planning with active, daily terminal management. Focused on optimising delivery networks, manage driver compliance, and ensure the distribution operation runs efficiently and within strict company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and adjust daily driver runs to meet a target fleet capacity utilisation. Efficiently manage unexpected contingencies, arrange relief drivers, and re-route delivery schedules in real time.
• monitor courier and driver behaviour, and maintain strong, compliant relationships with transport providers.
• Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies and customer enquiries promptly, ensuring the site standard is maintained.
