Room Leader

Pay scale: L5 Scale Point 15 - Point 20

Salary: £23,840 - £25,883 per annum

30 hours 30 minutes per week 8.30 - 4pm Monday, Thursday & Friday (plus 2 after school meetings per week which finish at 4.30pm or 4.45pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks per year)

Beechwood is a 4 form entry primary school in the Leagrave area of Luton.

We are seeking a capable, reliable and highly motivated Room Leader with sound literacy and numeracy skills for our in-house provision space. In this role, you will champion the learning and developmental needs of individuals and groups of children across both indoor and outdoor environments, including providing crucial lunchtime support and assisting with intimate care as required. Working under the direct guidance of the SENDCo , you will specialise in supporting high‑needs pupils and 1:1 individuals through a bespoke sensory curriculum.
