Room Leader

Our Room Leaders assist in the day‑to‑day management of the setting, whilst leading their room team to enable children to engage in a range of play and learning opportunities.

You will have passion and enthusiasm for safeguarding children and delivering high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the staff team within the assigned room and contribute to the daily running of the nursery.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
• Lead staff on areas agreed by the Manager, e.g. EYFS delivery, SEN.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children’s needs.
• Work within the EYFS and promote high standards of care for the children.
• Assume responsibility for key children and ensure their developmental needs are met, accurately recorded, and learning diaries are up to date.
