EMS is looking for experienced Rolling Mill Operators.
Position Summary:
Set up and operate a variety of ZR rolling mills and metal forming machines, working with close tolerances. Check and order material and work from route cards and schedules. Use a variety of precision measuring tools to perform in-process inspection and check incoming material to meet required standards
Responsibilities:
+ Set up and operate the mill, including roll changes
+ Operate edge trimmer and in-line welder as needed
+ Change rolls and components in the mill housing as needed
+ Work with very close tolerances from route cards
+ Use shop math, use micrometer, gauges, and samples
+ Complete setups, routine maintenance, and other equipment related operations.
+ Maintain production records and make data entries into computer systems
+ Wear all required PPE at all times
