Overview

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician in the Patrol division, delivering mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Work demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to members when they need it most.
• Start and finish each day at home, troubleshooting and resolving faults on the roadside.

Requirements

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
• Customer‑focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
