The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42 - $59.52 per hour.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse / Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides and coordinates nursing care services to clients experiencing problematic substance use, including assessment, referrals, counseling, client and family teaching, follow‑up, health promotion activities, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and provide direct nursing care to clients, including reviewing client/family history, conducting assessments, developing a care plan, and collaborating with the health care team.
2. Process physician or nurse practitioner orders, administer medications, and document effects.
3. Manage emergencies (e.g., drug overdose, heart attack, assaultive behavior, seizures) per policies and procedures.
