Are you a nursing student eager to expand your clinical skills beyond the classroom while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced med‑surg environment? Geisinger GCMC is hiring RN/LPN Student Nursing Assistants to join our D5 unit in a per diem capacity. This opportunity begins over summer break, allowing time for a full two-week orientation tailored to our unit’s patient population and workflows. The role then continues into the academic year with flexible scheduling designed to support your school commitments. As a Student Nursing Assistant, you’ll support the care team by performing a variety of direct patient care tasks and clerical duties, depending on unit needs. Your contributions will help enhance the team’s ability to deliver high-quality care. You’ll also gain valuable experience working with patients across different age ranges in your assigned clinical area.
