Job Description:

This role involves working in the telemetry unit, which serves as a holding area in the ER for patients moving to the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry floors. Responsibilities include providing care to an elderly population with lots of critical care and medically challenged patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor telemetry and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.
• Float within the hospital as needed.
• Support the hospital's weekend rotation and holiday requirements, either the 4th of July or Labor Day.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of medical-surgical telemetry experience.
• Illinois RN License.
• Certificates: CPR, ACLS, BLS.
