This unit takes advanced care level patients and needs to have experience with advanced care level drips and need to have worked some advanced care/step down before. Mixed acuity unit.

No holiday RTO being accepted. No travel partners. 36 OR 48 HOURS ACCEPTED. For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours. NO BLOCK SCHEDULE 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6. Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
