A Registered Nurse opportunity in the Pediatric Emergency Department at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah — located in Farmington, NM.


The role. This RN position sits within a 48-bed Emergency Department (with flex space) that operates on a team nursing and pod system, with a dedicated social worker and a unit educator supporting the department. Patient ratios are 4: 1 in the main ED and 6: 1 in Fast Track. Nurses care for a complex patient population that includes presentations of ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric conditions, with frequent encounters involving trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, moderate sedation, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, CHF, and abdominal and chest pain.
