RN Surgery

Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Manages overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures. Directly assists operating physicians with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure. Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing Certifications: - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date. - BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date. Must-Have: - Scrub experience helpful but not required.
