Job Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience required License: Active IN license Certifications: Active BLS, Active ACLS Must-Have: Must be proficient in emergencies such as an emergency c-section. Experience as a circulator for Operating Room required. Description: Works with two surgical technologists to provide care for perioperative patients, including c-sections. Utilizes equipment such as Pyxis, EPIC documentation, TECSYS distribution system for supplies, I-stat, and basic OR equipment. Will work with two surgical technologists. A call nurse is available for assistance if needed. Call is required: one weekday call every 2-3 weeks and one weekend call every 8 weeks. No floating to other units/departments, but assistance can be offered to departments such as PACU, ER, and ICU in emergencies. The unit has 4 ORs and 2 procedure rooms. The...
