What you will do:

The Perioperative Registered nurse provides direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations during the perioperative period, using specialized knowledge and skills to achieve desired patient outcomes. The perioperative nurse functions as patient advocate. He/she assesses the surgical environment for potential patient safety concerns and intervenes appropriately while working with the surgical team to facilitate the completion of the surgical procedure.
