Registered Nurse

The position requires a registered nurse with a specialty in Medical Surgical. Shifts will be or . Weekend requirements include working every other weekend. The registered nurse will be the first to float to other units for Medical Surgical assignments unless telemetry trained. Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts may be required every 6 weeks. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:6 maximum. During dayshifts, the patient ratio is typically 1:5. Holiday requirements apply primarily from May to September and November to January. The registered nurse is expected to ask for no more than 1 holiday off during the contract period. The care setting is acute. The position is classified under Trauma Level 3. The charting system used is EPIC.
