Description: The unit has a total of 33 beds. Patient ratios are 6:1 during the day and 7:1 at night. There are three techs available per shift, with unit secretaries present during the day shift. Equipment used on the unit includes IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Scheduling requirements include working every other weekend.
