Description: Department consists of three units with a total of 56 beds. Staff will work interchangeably between the three units. Patient to nurse ratios are 1:4-5 during days and 1:5-6 during nights. Common diagnoses include post-operative cases in general, orthopedic, and podiatry. General medical cases include diabetes, congestive heart failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Nurses do not titrate drips.
