Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Varied shift scheduling of 8-hour shifts: Days 0730 - 1530, Evenings 1500 - 2330, and Nights 2300 - 0730, including weekends and holidays. Overtime rotation may be required. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.

As a Registered Nurse in a Long Term Care Facility located on the site of a hospital, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients. Your duties will include conducting assessments, administering treatments and medications, and communicating pertinent information to the Medical Doctor (MD) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). You will also be involved in admitting and discharging patients, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), providing gastrostomy tube and urinary catheter care, performing nebulizer treatments and wound vac care, and managing CPAP care among other assigned duties.
