Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Frederick, MD

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: The Labor & Delivery unit provides comprehensive obstetric care for patients who are 20+ weeks pregnant and up to 6 weeks postpartum. The facility is equipped with 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, an OB Triage unit, OB ORs, and an OB PACU, including 5 newly built rooms featuring state-of-the-art equipment and modern technologies designed for comfort and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in labor and postpartum settings
• Utilize active fetal monitoring to ensure the safety of the mother and baby
• Conduct assessments and interventions in the OB Triage unit
• Assist in surgical procedures, including C-sections
