Responsibilities:
- Conduct all steps of the nursing process in accordance with established protocols
- Implement and monitor care plans for patients with various cardiac conditions, including but not limited to cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, or any hemodynamically unstable patients requiring pressors
- Use heart monitors to assess cardiac functioning
- Insert IVs and administer medications as prescribed
- Record and communicate updates in the patient's condition to the healthcare team
