Description

The Horizons Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral component of the inpatient behavioral health program. The RN collaborates with a multi/interdisciplinary team to provide specialized inpatient mental health treatment. The primary goal is to assess/observe/treat and educate patients/families that are experiencing mental illnesses such as depression, dementia with behavioral disturbances, psychosis, and other mental disorders. The Mental Health RN provides treatment to individuals in a structured safe environment. Treatment is individualized to the patient.
