Registered Nurse - Rapid Response

Location Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday with a mandatory on-call requirement of staying late 1-2 times per week.

Job Description Join our dynamic Rapid Response team providing services to a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area. You will be responsible for critical care nursing tasks and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes with a focus on pre-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document findings including skin assessments.
• Administer medications and assist with various procedures such as large-bore IV starts and central line placements.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction, intubation, and positioning.
• Provide pre-operative preparation and support including medication administration and hair removal.
