The Registered Nurse (RN) position is a full time or part-time position for a BSN who enjoys using a repertoire of nursing knowledge, the nursing process, and working with an interdisciplinary team. The RN provides healthcare to adults & children with developmental disabilities and mental health issues living in residential care. This is an exciting position for an individual who desires to learn from an expert team and expand your knowledge base in behavioral therapies, autism, mental health care, and developmental disabilities. As a team member, the RN is responsible for full health assessments and directing the healthcare of each resident. Guided by the current Registered Nurses, the nurse will assume case management and advocacy for individuals in homes licensed by the Department of Social Services, Department of Health Services, and the Department of Developmental Disabilities.
