RN Clinical Team Development

**Job Description:**

The primary role is to develop the Medical Assistant Teams and Medical Assistant Leads at SCL Health Medical Group Clinics with a focus on workflows, protocols and team building and development. This role will strongly collaborate with the Clinic Managers and partner with Process Improvement, Ambulatory Informatics, Pharmacy and other system resources.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Responsible for development and coaching of Medical Assistants (MA)
+ Responsible for developing MA and MA lead clinic orientation and training
+ materials. Maintain accountability with lead MA to accomplish orientation,
+ education and training of MA staff
+ Coach providers and MAs on building trusting work relationships that
+ maximize patient centered care
+ Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the MA Scope of Practice
+ Make quality improvement recommendations by observing work
