RN Clinical Nurse II - Children's Short Stay Unit

**Description**

The Children's Short Stay Unit (CSSU) is a fast-paced, multi-faceted pediatric unit with 8 beds dedicated primarily to the care of extended recovery and observation for 24 hours or less.

Hours: 36hrs/wk;Night Shift

Patient ages range from birth to adolescence.

Primary populations include post-surgical/post-procedural patients from:

+ general surgery
+ otolaryngology
+ neurosurgery
+ oral-maxillofacial
+ orthopedics
+ burns
+ urology

The unit may also care for outpatient infusion patients and/or inpatient admissions as needed.

PALS certification preferred.
