Job Description
*Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular ICU*
*Schedule:* 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour varied shifts (4 months nights, 4 months days)
*Location:* Scripps Memorial La Jolla
*This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K .*
CVICU specializes in caring for acute patients with a variety of disease states. As a destination center for higher level of cardiac care in Southern California, CVICU implements progressive programs and therapies. As a member of our team, you will gain experience in:
* Cardiac surgery
* Heart failure, shock, advanced resuscitation measures
* Mechanical circulatory support
o ECMO, LVAD, Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, CRRT
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice, focusing on Cardiac Diagnosis. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outco...
