Welcome to the Neonatal Team at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work as a Sister/Charge Nurse and help shape a new and developing neonatal unit that opened in November 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Work flexibly as a member of the neonatal team to maintain, evaluate and improve standards of care.
• Collaborate with all multidisciplinary team members to ensure babies and families receive a satisfactory experience, including incident investigation and discussion with families and staff.
• Support nursing and medical staff in the development of evidence‑based policies and procedures.
• Oversee the management of the service alongside the senior clinical team, supporting capacity planning and clinical decision making.
• Partner with the Senior team to monitor delivery of high‑standard care across neonatal services.
