RF Applications Engineer

Location: Ottawa, Canada. Reports to the Senior Application Engineering Manager. The position will commence in January 2025.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate and fault‑find the RF portion of reference designs for WiFi products in collaboration with high‑end technology customers and strategic partners.
• Tune and conduct DVT testing of WiFi product reference designs for high‑end technology customers and strategic partners.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to define new products for the RF and Mixed‑Signal Intelligence Solutions (RMI) business unit.
• Characterize and validate RF devices.
• Design, test, document and maintain application and evaluation boards.
• Write application notes, guidelines and presentations for products.
• Investigate, analyze and report device anomalies.
• Perform competitive analysis.
