Position

A temporary full‑time (1.0) Grade 7–9 Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The assignment will be at Wonowon Elementary School.

School Details

Wonowon Elementary is a rural elementary school located at mile 101 of the historic Alaska Highway, 85 km north of Fort St. John. The school has five teachers, one serving as head teacher, and a student population of 83, many of whom are of Russian‑German background. The campus consists of three classrooms, a portable, a gym, and an outdoor play area. A new school building is planned for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for a certificate)
