Description
 :The technician functions under the supervision of the pharmacist. Provides basic prescription filling, inventory management, customer service and basic compounding. May assists with other pharmacy projects and advanced dispensing. Provides backup for lead technicians and the pharmacy buyers.

Prescription FillingOrder entry into pharmacy management softwareFulfilment of reviewed ordersFinal dispense according to dispositionReduces audit risk through proper checks including, but not limited to, DAW, days supply, NDC validation, dates of service, discrete directions and other standard practicesPrepares oral extemporaneous productsPerforms bulk compounding
