**Description:**

The Retail Pharmacist accepts the responsibility and accountability for the accurate control of and appropriate dispensing of all prescription and non-prescription medications. Ensures appropriate counseling of patients regarding their medications.

+ Accepts responsibility for the timely and accurate preparation of medications and pharmaceutical supplies, using accepted procedures to fulfill prescription orders issued by physicians, dentists, and other qualified providers
+ Communicates effectively with colleagues and customers alike, being a good listener and adjusting style as needed
+ Represents MercyOne Family Pharmacies in a courteous, friendly, and caring manner
+ Performs duties with flexibility, adapting to changing schedules and needs of the customers, prioritizing work load accordingly
