Retail Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Retail Co‑ordinators to establish and lead the retail operation at Te Puna Mahara – Cromwell Memorial Events Centre. This role plays a key part in delivering a high‑quality visitor experience while developing retail as a strong and sustainable income stream for the venue. Working closely with the wider venue team, the Retail Co‑ordinators will combine on‑floor customer service with back‑of‑house operational leadership in a dynamic, community‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading daily retail operations, balancing customer‑facing service with administration and reporting
• Actively working on the retail floor, delivering welcoming, knowledgeable customer service
• Managing cash handling, EFTPOS and POS transactions, daily reconciliations, and banking
• Establishing and maintaining retail systems for ordering, stock control, pricing, and POS accuracy
