Job Summary

Retail Assistant – Part Time (Pontefract, West Yorkshire). Minimum 16 hours across 4 days per week.

Pay: £10.95‑£12.81 per hour (depending on age: 16‑20 years £10.95, 21+ years £12.81). Hours: 16 per week, shifts vary across weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they need.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, assist with packing, and leave a positive impression with thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock carefully during deliveries, manage shelf placement and freezers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean, and tidy.
