Responsibilities

Millwright responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical building equipment and related components across campus. The role includes skilled trade work for maintenance, repair and small renovation projects in all university buildings.

• Perform duties as a Licensed Industrial Mechanical (Millwright) in Ontario with valid certification (433A or 443A) and licensing in good standing.
• Perform skilled trade for maintenance, repair and small renovations.
• Diagnose equipment and mechanical issues.
• Inspect, investigate and solve problems related to building mechanical systems including pumps, motors, compressors, liquid transfer systems and fans, and provide technical advice for repairs.
