At the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Clinical Dentistry, a full‑time temporary position as researcher is available. The position is externally financed by the European Commission and, for the time being, a part of the project BioFACTORy. The project has temporary financing for 1 year.

About the project/work tasks:

The position is allocated to tasks aimed at the development of innovative tissue engineering approaches to cell‑based regenerative therapy for oral and maxillofacial tissues. The main objective of the project is to engineer a cell‑laden composite scaffold for bone regeneration by leveraging an additive manufacturing technology, composite biomaterials and adult stem cells. Specific aims are to:

• Design multi‑phasic scaffold architecture and optimal biomaterial compositions compatible for additive manufacturing methods for bone tissue engineering.
