Research Funding Specialist – Permanent Position

The University of Oulu's Research and Project Services unit is seeking a Research Funding Specialist. The team supports researchers in applying for research funding, enhances EU influence at the university level, and assists in strategic research funding activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the interdisciplinary Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies in research funding.
• Provide advice, training, and communication about EU funding.
• Assist researchers with grant applications.
• Develop internal processes for research funding.

Qualifications

• Higher university degree.
• Good knowledge of research funding and EU programmes.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary environments and initiative are advantageous.
