Research Engineer II (Analytical Specialist)

Perform inorganic analytical measurements on grab and online samples, including ion chromatography (IC), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), titration, TGA, XRD and pH/conductivity measurements

Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instruments in accordance with standard operating procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Collect, process, and review analytical data; perform quality checks and flag anomalous results for investigation

Prepare calibration standards, reagents, and reference solutions to support analytical programmes

Maintain accurate and complete records of all analytical activities, calibration logs, and instrument maintenance in laboratory logs.

Support the development and validation of new analytical methods for novel sample matrices (aqueous based) encountered in energy research
