**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE) of the University of Rochester is a unique national resource for research in science and technology focusing on using lasers to initiate high energy density physics. LLE is currently seeking to hire a Research Engineer to serve as the Cryogenic and Tritium Facility Manager to oversee the target production capabilities and operational team for OMEGA cryogenic and tritium targets. Candidate will be expected to analyze system configurations for feasibility and system safety, monitor facility performance, and optimize facility utilization. Work closely with engineering resources to define and implement new systems, upgrades to systems, or troubleshoot operational issues.
