Research Assistant (Semiconductor/Materials/Electrical Engineering)

Support senior researchers in operating CVD and high-vacuum deposition and semiconductor processing systems.

Assist with experimental setup, tool preparation, sample handling and process monitoring.

Perform routine material and device characterisation using optical microscopy, AFM, XRD and basic electrical measurements.

Collect, log and carry out preliminary analysis of experimental data and report results.

Maintain experimental records and data repositories in accordance with laboratory protocols.

Support laboratory operations, including inventory control, consumables, safety checks and basic equipment upkeep.

Assist with procurement, documentation and vendor coordination.

Follow laboratory safety procedures, SOPs and good housekeeping standards.
