Role Type: 12 month parental leave cover 

Salary: $86,485 - $96,365 p.a plus super

The opportunity:

We’re seeking a seeking a Research Assistant to support the derivation and genome editing of pluripotent stem cells. The facility generates high-quality, gene-edited iPSC lines using advanced, feeder-free and chemically defined systems. This role involves regular use of molecular biology techniques, project support, and collaboration within a small team. Occasional weekend cell culture work may be required. An excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge stem cell research in a dynamic core facility environment. This is a maximum-term position to provide parental leave cover.
What you’ll do:
Perform molecular biology techniques including plasmid preparation, PCR, Sanger sequencing and gel electrophoresis.
