Requirements Specialist (Combat Development)

Summary About the Position: This position is located at Fort Bragg, NC. Responsibilities Perform staff administrative, evaluative, and coordinative work in the requirements and acquisition processes to acquire war fighter operational equipment. Coordinate the assessment of requirements, documentation of validated capabilities, operational performance criteria, and capability needs required to execute war fighter missions; identify shortfalls in systems and to develop optimal capabilities. Manage commodity area representatives within Combat Development Directorate (CDD) to create material capabilities documents in support of requirements and the rapid acquisition process. Serve as SME at IPTs concerning all applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations, Dept of the Army and USSOCOM acquisition policies and regulations, operational applicability and impact of developmental projects, programs, and evaluations.
