Relief Waking Night Support Worker

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Extra Care service in Hull. We are a large extra care service which provides care and support for older adults with a range of additional needs within their own homes.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will work alongside another colleague to the support running of the service through the night with the support of local and national on-call services.

Relief Waking Night Support Worker Duties:

• Provide person-centred support, to include personal care to a high standard in adherence with care plans, maintaining dignity and respect for individuals throughout.
• Collaborate with colleagues, agencies, families and carers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Oversee service safety through the night between 10pm and 8am: including taking emergency calls and responding to emergency situations, taking planned care calls, checking CCTV, providing a thorough handove...
