Location: Gardner Hall, Venns Lane, Hereford

Hours: Zero

Salary: Sessional payment of £65 per ceremony. Additional hours will be remunerated separately.

The Herefordshire Registration Service is looking to recruit Ceremony Officers to conduct and register a range of statutory and non‑statutory ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships at approved venues across the county, including the Woollard Room and Orangery at Gardner Hall.


• Attend local Registered Buildings as required.


• Be available to work during the week, at weekends and on Bank Holidays, with unpredictable working patterns and short‑notice shift changes.


• Maintain high standards in registration practices and customer service.
