Registered Radiation Therapist Tech (RRT) - Radiation Oncology, per diem

Under the administrative direction of the Chief Therapist and the clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist, the Registered Radiation Therapist assists in the treatment and care of Kingsbury Center for Cancer Care patients. Administers prescribed radiation treatment, prepares patients in exam rooms and assists the Radiation Oncologist with medical examinations. Prepares patients, rooms, and equipment for treatment and simulations and assists the Radiation Oncologist with simulations. Performs all necessary calibration on equipment as prescribed by the Radiation Safety Officer in accordance with the conditions of the therapy license, or any other regulatory body. Observes radiation safety measures for patients and personnel. Records all patient doses and gathers all confidential history on patients, documents all reactions that the patient may have, and reports these findings to the radiologist.
