Registered Psychiatric Nurse

The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Charge Nurse for our 11-bed secure Cognitive Behavioral Unit. This unit specializes in the assessment and treatment of older adults experiencing complex symptoms of dementia and unstable medical conditions. As a leader in our collaborative care model, you will facilitate evidence-based rehabilitation plans alongside an inter-professional team, patients, and their families. This role requires a balance of clinical leadership, psychosocial expertise, and a hands‑on approach to patient care. As the Charge Nurse, you will be overseeing daily operations, providing guidance to the care team, leading rapid rounds, team conferences and leading de‑escalation efforts during behavioral emergencies using NVCI (Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention) techniques.
