Enhance senior living as a Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare, part time at Village on the Ridge. Provide essential nursing care in a collaborative and compassionate environment.
Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, you will focus on planned, patient-oriented nursing care that meets provincial standards. This role requires close collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and offers opportunities for growth in geriatric care. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver care
• Evaluate and update care/service plans regularly
• Provide education to families about resident care
• Manage documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Supervise and direct unregulated care providers effectively
Requirements:
• Active Registered Practical Nurse registration
• Background in gerontology or community care preferred
